Terms of service
JM Tech LLC is a two-person shop in Prospect, Connecticut. These terms cover work you ask us to do. Questions go to [email protected].

Quotes come first
We tell you the price before we start. If the job changes, we stop and quote the next part before we keep going.
Monthly care
Monthly care starts at $10 per computer per month. It covers operating system updates, app updates, and security protection on that machine.
It does not include rebuilds, malware cleanup, or hands-on repair. Those are separate jobs. We quote them before we start.
File and folder backup is an add-on from $15 per workstation per month. Care and backup together are $25 per computer per month. You can stop monthly care or backup with notice before the next month.
Repairs and other work
Hands-on repairs, rebuilds, and incident cleanup are billed separately and quoted before we start. The same is true for networking, website design, cameras, and on-site visits.
Payment
You pay the amount we quoted for that job. Monthly care and backup are paid for the month they cover. If a quote has a deposit, we start after that deposit.
What we are responsible for
We do the work we agreed to, with ordinary care. We are not responsible for lost profits, lost time, or other indirect losses. If we are responsible for a mistake on a job, what we owe is limited to what you paid us for that job.
Connecticut law
These terms follow the laws of the State of Connecticut. If we cannot sort a dispute by talking, it is handled in the state or federal courts in Connecticut.
